About Squirrel With A Gun

Squirrel with a Gun is a sandbox game starring, well, a squirrel with a gun. Whether you are exploring the open neighborhood, performing athletics in a platformer setting, or just shooting down some enemy agents, there is a little something for everyone!

In August 2022, the development team released a devlog where the squirrel commits an adorable robbery. Naturally, the video went viral and put Squirrel with a Gun on the map... or on the globe might be more accurate. The viral success led to international media coverage from some of the largest gaming news sites in the world, such as IGN and Kotaku. Squirrel with a Gun has reached the top 120 most wishlisted games on Steam!

Q. When will the game be released?

A. Squirrel with a Gun does not have an official release date at this time.

Q. Will there be a Kickstarter?

A. YES! We plan to launch a kickstarter campaign to help fund development, marketing and other costs.

Q. What platforms will the game be released on?

A. The only official platform release right now is for PC/Steam. However, ideally we would also like to port the game to Playstation 5, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch!

Q. Will there be Multiplayer?

A. Unfortunetly there is no plan to release multiplayer at this time.

OUR STUDIO

Growing up playing video games together, Dan and Scott have always dreamed of creating their own indie games. Dan is a professional animator, which gave him a helpful foundation when he decided to create his first game in 2017. Dan has been creating new game concepts for his next game ever since and In 2022, development for Squirrel with a Gun officially began.

Squirrel with a Gun took the internet by storm in early August 2022 and two new members were added to the team, Scott and Beem. Being a professional musician and avid gamer, Scott is composing the music and doing level design. Beem is in charge of marketing and Public Relations.
